You can do 5 nights in a Thompson suite at The Cape, which is an incredible property closer to the airport. Have you looked at Waldorf availability, or are you talking next year? Waldorf is not an easy redemption, on par with Conrad Bora Bora.
We are looking at the end of this month, and availability is wide open, presumably due to the construction/remodeling going on. Bora has had a lot of last minute availability lately too but that's for another trip when we have more time to go back. We recently got into the Chase Ultimate Rewards game but don't have enough points yet to do anything worthy with them. I have four free night certs with Hilton and about a zillion points so just looking for a nice get away at the end of this month for four or five nights. Flights from LAX are more than reasonable to Cabo. Hawaii also a consideration but their governor doesn't want more tourists right now. Leaning toward using the certs at Waldorf but a little hesitant due to the construction going on.
