How early depends on when one wants to get on the flight - either at the very beginning, or at the end so as to maximise time in the lounge. probably getting there 30-45mins before departure should be fine; I doubt they’ll close the doors if you are in queue for security 20mins before departure (the stated time gates close).
Boarding generally starts 40-45 minutes before departure despite what is written on the boarding pass.
As US flights generally depart from C gates in DOH, leaving Al Mourjan or Al Safwa 55-70 minutes before departure would be sufficient and still will be able to board first.
And, I am pretty sure that there was a priority lane on all my US flights since COVID.
