Yes, the waterfall and the park in general is lovely when it isn't filled with rubbish! Nice views at the top of the only hill for miles looking back into Mitte. You will note the very marked difference between the areas north of Yorckstr. (bombed to smithereens) and south of it (generally avoided to preserve the airport after the war).
Golgotha in Victoria Park is an excellent beer garden and Vanille & Marille on Hagelberger Str. the best nearby ice-cream IMHO, depending on your preferred poison.
