Stayed here last night. Breakfast is back. I was offered 750 points or breakfast, I went for breakfast. There was a simple buffet: eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, fresh fruit, parfait, cereal. Coffee and OJ. Everything was pretty good, no real breakfast complaints.
In room dining tasted amazing, but was served in to go boxes with plastic cutlery. I ordered a NY Strip so obviously this wouldn't work. I called down and asked for real cutlery which they sent up 30 minutes later. This was quite disappointing, the food was cold by the time the real cutlery arrived. I also ordered wine and was given a disposable bottle opener which was difficult to use.
I booked a 1-king no view room. I was not upgraded. I asked about paying for an upgrade and they said there were no rooms available, but the app showed basically every other room offering available. I asked what would happen if I booked one of the rooms and they said they would not be able to honor the reservation. Seems like their inventory system is not working well.
The room was fine, but as stated it had no view other than the Disney parking lot. The room sound proofing was bad as others have mentioned. I could hear cars and music outside, and kids screaming in the hallways. The room had a nice large tub was nice after the tiny tub two weeks ago at the St Regis in SF. The shower did have a bit of pink mold.
The staff here is fantastic and very friendly. They were definitely the high point of the stay.
Unless I was going to Disney I don't think I'd stay here again.
