Corporate contract error – reservations still valid?
I've seen other related threads from folks who may or may not be actual valid users of corporate contracts, but that's not my situation. I work for the University of Michigan and have used the Big Ten National contract for years for both business and personal trips. Currently, I have three future reservations: at SEA, FAI, and in Exeter, UK, over the next 6 weeks or so, using the Personal Use contract code. None of them can any longer be loaded in the iPhone app or on the website – although they do display, I get that "We're sorry, but this account number cannot be used online. Please contact your account manager if you have questions" error.
Now, I could contact University Procurement and try to get an answer to this, but if any of you work for a large university, you know how impossible this is going to be, especially since it's the start of the Fall term and the trips are coming up fast. (Yes, there are three Procurement Agents listed on the password-protected contract details page, if I have to go that route.) I wanted to make sure I'd still have a car when I arrived at each location, and I'm no longer even able to reserve a new car with the personal contract at FAI for some reason, although using my Visa Infinite contract from the CSR works fine. So I'm nervous now...will these reservations still be honored, since they appear in my account, even though I can't view or modify them? Has anyone been through this already? This is some pretty terrible customer experience here.
