I would agree. Having flown a fair bit with SK, LH, LX, IB, TP I don't think I have seen "Mega Club" cabins on any of them. Not sure about the reasons, but I think other airlines are less aggressive in marketing their upgrade options. There is probably also a bit of the good old British class system in play, combined with that irrational desire for champagne (even if it is the cheapest money can buy).
