Although it's less common to see a change in aircraft types so close to departure, it's not uncommon. Switching flights because of a plane type can only end up in disappointment so I wouldn't consider it. A/C changes can happen at any time.

The only time I was booked on Club Suite was on a TLV-LHR flight in January 2020. The A350 switched to a 77W the day before the flight due to damage on the 350.
