Had a one night stay with an upgrade into a Sonoran Suite. I'd echo the cockroaches comment above - they found their way into the room and we fun finding them scattered under most furniture with the dust (tho thankfully mostly dead). No bug spray allowed according to the engineer who came to the room so it's a case of kill as you can or let them join you.
As a Scottsdale resident, that is utterly and completely unacceptable. If they're not adequately spraying for pests, there's also probably a bunch of scorpions hanging out in dark places.
