It looks like phone calls are in order.
Thanks for pointing this out. I checked my Barclays account statement for August and my AAdvantage account and there are missing miles.
My August Barclays statement closing date was just a few days after the Barclays system cutover. I only had $30 spend during those days and that is exactly how many miles posted to my AAdvantage account. However, my total spend on the August statement was about $2000. Interestingly, under the "AAdvantage Miles Rewards Summary" portion of the Barclays statement it reads:
AAdvantage Miles Earned this Period 30
Bonus AAdvantage Miles 0
Adjustments 0
Total AAdvantage Miles Sent to American Airlines 2405
The 2405 figure makes sense based on my total spend because I had some AA and other purchases that earn 2x miles. However, those 2405 miles have not appeared in my AAdvantage account.
I think I'll wait until my next Barclays statement posts and then tally the results for both August and September. Maybe they'll consolidate everything at that time (maybe I'm being way too optimistic...). Fortunately for me I've already hit all of the annual spend thresholds for all of the bonuses, plus I'll make EXP this year through flying, so I'm not concerned about missing out.
