I'm assuming that because it's over 900 miles you got the snack basket either:
1. Because of a miscater
2. AA doesn't have catering at FAI and since the items are not shelve stable the return flight was just snack basket. Does ORD/FAI RON?
3. FAI-ORD departs after 9pm and doesn't qualify for fresh food. There is an exception for late-night departures from ANC but not FAI.
