I'd say everything downtown is within walking distances (stumbling distance?), at least if you aren't loaded in stripper heels. Peggy's Cove is a 45 drive from downtown

Despite being brand new, I'd not wish Homewood or Hampton Inn hotels on anyone... Reasons.

YHZ is like a $60 cab from downtown, so well worth someone should cough up points for a rental (and book now!) and try and help shuttling people to downtown and then Peggy's Cove.
