I'm looking for comments about Anantara Bazaruto and Bazaruto in general.

I'm planning out our now twice delayed southern Africa trip for July 2022. Considering Anantara Bazaruto with the family (kids 14 and 11). We have 3 nights. There is a much less premium for a nice hotel in Vilankulos. I'm wondering if Bazaruto is best visited as a day trip whilst spending less money for a nice place on the mainland. Anyone been there to comment?
