switched to a different browser and got the text box. Requested representative and got told no agents available and to try again during working hours (currently 18:50 in the UK). Tried representative again and got plopped into the queue at number 28. Four mins later, I’m now 23.
Took 24 mins to get connected to an agent. Got all sorts of pushback trying to change SAN-LHR/LGW-ALC to LAX-MAD-ALC-MAD-LHR. First of all agent tried to force me to LAX-LHR-MAD, but wouldn’t rebook me on IB MAD-ALC as operated by Air Nostrum. Gave him my ALC PNR for this week that shows it’s possible. They then stated they couldn’t find the ALC-MAD-LHR flights for the return but could see later flights, with BA flight numbers, but before all could be confirmed, the agent ended the chat 52 mins in.
FAIL!
