Still no luggage
It is now Monday night, and of course no bags have arrived. I went to a place 100 km south of Madrid over the weekend, and they promised to deliver there. Just got back, and the Madrid number they gave me to call does not work. Called the London number again, and was told that my luggage had been located, and I should get a call tomorrow about it. On further questioning the agent confirmed that the bag had arrived in MAD on Friday, and I would have to get into contact with Newco about delivery. When I said the number does not work, they gave me another one, which has been engaged for the last fourty minutes.
What a cr*p airline!!
