Yes, this is what is also worrying me... it's crazy that they had one abroad (which was actually one of the Indian batches given here in UK), then the second here in the UK. Their GP feels they are fully vaccinated. But we can't prove it at home or abroad.

OP: would it make sense for your parents to get an additional does of the EU approved they were given? Will NHS do it? This would seem to provide reassuring additional protection.
It could be a solution, but I am worried about a third dose so soon after first. But also, as the app is so clunky I'd then be worried it would show on the pass as 'Jab 2' and a 'booster', rather than fully vaccinated! Their second jab in the UK has registered on the app covid pass as the 'second jab', it's just missing the first!
