After multiple attempts to reach the support, I got through to their chat, I was trying to book a seat on a cash booking that I was unable to view on BA.com and I received this from the agent. weird to say the least.
Skyrocker: Are you able to raise an issue with the relevant department?
BA Agent: So I just checked I can see the seat map for this, but you would need to call us to book the seats. I do apologise as there is a glitch in the system, so you would need to call us to book seats and we can certainly do that for you.
Skyrocker: Is it possible to report the issue to your IT department in regards to my booking?
BA agent: I can feed it back as a general query so they can look into it if that helps, but I would still recommend calling to get seats allocated.
Skyrocker: Could you please do that.
BA agent: Okay I will feed it back to IT and get them to look into it as it may be an issue with more than one passenger too.
