In theory, Hyatt should be better at delivering this guaranteed benefit. In practice, I have not encountered any issue with getting the guaranteed 4 PM late check-out at either chain. I had one experience at a resort where they first offered 2 PM then I asked again on check-out day for 4 PM and they gave it. Other than this experience, I have never encountered a situation where I was not granted precisely the late check-out I requested upon check-in at a Marriott or Hyatt property.

Upon checking into the St. Regis Bangkok, they proactively offered me a late check-out to 9 PM. Didn't end up using it but that was nice lol.
