That's a great write-up SanDiego1K. We spent 4 nights at St Michele and 3 at FIermontina in July and loved both. Lecce is very special indeed and the hotel outstanding. You didn't miss much on the boat ride. We did it and it was mostly a bore. We also enjoyed Bari, Matera and Martina France very much.
