I guess the hotel uses two different categories here to differentiate the locations.
The Deluxe Ocean Suites are a different layout altogether (basically the mirror image of the entire Ocean View Suite space is used as the living and dining room, and a separate room is used for the bedroom), and they are located on the lagoon side of the Lahaina Tower. Hopefully the below clarifies the two categories of suite in the Lahaina Tower.
I believe you used the names at hotel website. Hotel agents do not use those names. I received ocean front suites at both Napili and Lahaina towers. Agents clearly stated that they are ocean front suites at the corners.
The ends of both Napili and Lahaina towers are identical. For Napili, the end units are x34, x36 on one side and x31, x33, x35 on the other side. For Lahaina tower, the end units are x80, x82 on even side and x77, x79 and x81 on the odd side. Stairs are on the odd side. Both x31 and x77 near stairs have own doors, but can be connected to x33 and x79 to form the Deluxe ocean front suites. Some of the suites like x80 and x34 have doors open for connection rooms too. Not sure if anyone is configured as Deluxe Oceanfront suites.
So the Deluxe oceanfront suites are probably not limited to Napili tower only. Both towers have identical configurations at the ends. Here is a photo of the Napili tower. Lahaina tower looks the same.
