Just a small possible correction there. You will still be able to bring in guests after the change but they will no longer be complimentary. After the change guests will be admitted at $50pp.

Right...sorry, should have specified free guest.

Also, for PP, probably worth noting that unlike with the PP memberships through Chase (CSR), PP via Amex plat does not include the restaurant credits - only the lounges. While I have not used the restaurant benefit, personally, with my other PP membership, so not a big deal for me, I know that is a big deal for some (and you'd think with the AF of the plat, they could afford to add that back...but what do I know).
