Flying DFW to FRA on AA metal, arriving 7:15 am. Transferring to LH flight to KBP.

AA is not going to check our bags all the way through, so we will have to claim them in FRA and recheck them to KBP.

Will there be a LH check-in/luggage drop in the transit area, or will we have to clear immigration into Germany and proceed with luggage to the main LH check in?

Trying to figure out if we will have enough time to make a 9:35am flight on LH with minimal stress, or if we should book the 13:50 flight.

I've never flown LH or been in FRA before, so any advice is appreciated about the connection, or anything else.
