Finalized all three COVID tests we'll be needing for the trip:
- To enter Dubai we'll need a test 72 hours prior to the last leg of the trip. I've done a ton of research on this as most places such as Emirate's website, the UAE embassy site etc say 72 hour prior to departure. But SQ's website and official notice through IATA say before last leg to Dubai.
This interpretation caught me out recently also. EK said it was 72 hours before departure from your original departure point. But QR said it was 72 hours from departure of your last connecting flight. Was denied boarding due to being outside the 72 hours for the DOH-DXB connection.
So in your case for safety i would go with 72 hours before your connecting flight
