It is squishable depth-wise but the frame is rigid so I wouldn't be able to make it any shorter or narrower. They are both the Travelpro Maxlite 5 style but it won't let me add a link here because I'm too new. I am always careful to make sure the suitcase isn't bulging anywhere and don't use the expansion zippers. I don't think any decent size rollaboard ever fits in those sizer things, don't the wheels always stick out? Pretty sure even the international size wouldn't fit in a sizer all the way.

I've always had really good luck with the Travelpro bags because they have a sleek profile and many flight attendants use them as well. The only airline to give me any hassle on them so far was Lufthansa and they are crazy strict, they even have weight limits for carry ons.

After seeing the video someone posted above, I'm fairly sure I actually used to fly every week in this same aircraft on a United Chicago to Austin route a few years back and the larger size carry on did fit if turned sideways. So now what I'm wondering is whether Air Canada is more like Lufthansa or more like the American airlines when it comes to enforcement!
