I’ll admit our daughter (18 months old at the time) watched Peppa on an iPad without headphones- she was too small at the time to have kept them on and it would have been more of a “thing” for her to keep putting them on and off. We kept the volume low enough that she could hear, and it’s possible someone near us heard it as well. We were very aware of the people around us and made a calculated trade- possible Peppa vs cranky toddler for 8 hours in CW.

What you’re describing doesn’t sound like that at all- this would have driven me nuts! Bless you, OP and you’re patience.
