So in July, I couldn't figure out how to best optimize Platinum's digital entertainment credit. Ultimately, I opted for Peacock with ads and Audible Premium Plus - 2 credits. I had reservations about Audible, but maybe it's something worth considering long-term especially when on a plane. I'm still trying to figure out how Audible's credit system work. I opted for the Premium Plus - 2 credits to use up all of my credits and not leave any on the table. I want to end the monthly subscription in the next couple of days and switch to the cheaper Audible Premium Plus with only 1 credit. Unfortunately, I started the subscription on July 31st. The email is telling me I won't get my next set of credits until August 31st. If I cancel or switch my subscription, I'm assuming I won't lose any credits? I still have $15.01 in credit left for this month. Is there a way I can use that $15 to buy credit or something from Audible and cancel my subscription and start again in September? The cheaper Audible Premium Plus has a free 30-day trial. I'm ok with that, but I don't want to leave money on the table with AMEX. Do you understand what I'm saying? What would you do and what can you advise me to use it all up?
