The US Embassy will not answer my email about whether this reason permits me to apply for an ESTA to travel
Is anyone able to advise if this is possible? Or if not who to contact?

Thanks in advance
Unfortunately, you won’t be allowed entry. My parents have inquired about entry to the US from the UK so that they can meet my son. They’ve been told that they would be denied entry at the border. I know it stinks. My parents are desperate to meet their grandson. He was born a couple of months before everything shut down (he had some NICU time so we all wanted to wait until he got home and settled). He will almost 2 years old by the time they see him, assuming the UK doesn’t institute more significant travel restrictions on those from the US, and that we can get his UK passport in time.
