Considering that you can often buy AS miles with promos for 1.85 cents per point (most recent promo ended 8/23, 60% bonus), this isn't worth it unless you need precisely that small amount to top off for another imminent redemption in an amount that would be too small to allow you to purchase @1.85 cents.
