I have had $10,000s of medical expenses over the past 3 years. I have tried to make the best of it when it comes to CC spend. I’ve signed up for AMEX cards that I traditionally have avoided since I could never make minimum spends — like Business Platinum — and that has helped lessen the blow. 150k MR for $15k spend, even if you say 59,500 of the SUB goes straight towards the $595 annual fee, leaves you with 105,500 points on $15k spend, or 7 pts/$.
