I can't find the master A339 D1 seating thread, so I'll ask here. Is 1A bad due to the proximity to the lavs, as seatguru says, or is it far enough away? My flight got switched to the A339 from the A333, and I'm in 3J, with only 1A and 7J available, and they both have the same issue. I would really prefer a suite staggered towards the window.
I just flew tatl overnight in 1A. I was struck by how much room there was for my feet and found the seat quite comfortable.
Only thing was the overhead galley light, which shines bright and is not blocked by the suite door. I asked and the crew figured out how to dim it, but with no curtain it was a big problem and I could barely sleep at all. I’d go for 2a.
