I feel like this is where flying a "regular" carrier (in an alliance with interline agreements), comes into play: in the unlikely event they cancel, they can perhaps reroute you on another Star Alliance carrier from JMK.

But as mentioned above, seems unlikely they'd cancel a JMK flight.
