Your situation seems to be similar to mine.
I also have one rebooked booking (due to fly in a week) where I changed dates and also upgraded to business class by refare to P class.
I also had booked a fixed price upgrade to the original flights which made this a complete mess: at first the agents insisted with different excuses why I cannot book straight to business etc. So far I have phoned 5-6 times and where I am now standing is that I have the flights booked and priced as I wanted but the ticket is still in the ticketing queue. It has been there now for almost a week and when I phoned again I was told this "24-48 hours" joke like they apparently keep on telling to everyone.
Why just not process the tickets within 24 hours like almost any other airline on this planet? Yesterday the chat agent assured me that the ticket will be reissued. They were also able to select seats via chat, obviously MMB is kaput until the new ticket has been issued.
All in all, really frustrating and strenuous to both parties, and frankly, silly and ridiculous.
