This thread brings back fond memories of growing up in YXE and being able to walk right up to the plexiglass, press my nose to it and watch my Dad's plane taxi into the terminal and then watch as he walked down the stairs (no escalator). It was quite interesting to watch the ground crew at work no more than feet from you, separated only by a thin sheet of plexiglass. Sadly, those days are gone too.

My first flight was '82 and while nowhere close compared to the other exotic itineraries others have posted, YXE-YYC seemed exciting first flight being 16. That was up until the o/b GA ripped the wrong number of coupons and we didn't noticed until we checked in for the i/b flight. AC saved the day, though, and got us back to the Bridge City safely.

Thanks for the stroll down memory lane. I hadn't thought of either for too long.
