I think your best bet is to PM the lurkers here with all of the information you have and.... just move on tbh. I realize it is a frustrating situation and hope the lurkers can help you. Ultimately, is 24.6 Euros worth your time and effort to retrieve? It's a really annoying situation (that you could probably fight and win) but... would you feel satisfied if you spent an hour on this and got your money back?

I once spent a considerable amount of time (don't even know how long) on the phone trying to get a daily $20 Marriott credit. In the end, I got the credit but felt like an idiot for letting myself waste so much time on an ultimately inconsequential task.

Regardless, I think contacting the Lurkers would be your best next step here. My takeaway from this is to just not use Marriott gift cards.
