As part of the included service in economy class on TATL flights, SK has at times given out polar rolls in economy class. Not something to my liking, but some really love that kind of bread being used for a sandwich of sort.
By my estimate of what that bread was on for sale a few weeks ago and what else may go into those rolls, my bet is that labor costs for getting those "polar rolls" to passengers is a much higher proportion of the cost of the product -- including ingredients -- than was typical for included meals in the years before SAS tried to charge for even water on short-haul flights.
