Unrelated to the OP's question, but it's interesting to see the impact of this on turnaround times.
The flight had a 50 minutes turnaround time at KRK in the timetable, about normal for European sectors. The aircraft actually arrived 20 minutes early into KRK, but needed 1 hour 50 minutes on this occasion. This one is on BA and they will fix it since it will be costing them money.
easyJet and Ryanair have this better organised than BA, they are still issuing boarding passes at least, so people can be checked at the gate if necessary.
