I've stayed at Benesse and must have commented in one of the other threads. It is a unique experience but definitely not luxury, not even upscale. The rooms are tiny and dated. Service is pretty much non-existent. You are paying for location and while that might be worth one night, I am sure glad I didn't stay for two!
