why oh why do I get the feeling that someone never bothered to read the Wiki!

short- if you buy any type of gift card when its not on a promo that week/day you earn 0 pts into your Go Rewards acct (you stil earnl whatever your CC offers). When a gc is on promo you earn the # of pts they say you do eg next week the MCs earns 3x = 3 pts $1, so had you purchased the card from the other day on this Fri till next Thurs you would have earned 1500 Go Rewards, if you purchase a Visa then you earn 0 pts, since the promo isnt for Visa, go next Fri 9/2 and purchase a $500 MC youd earn 0 pts unless they announce that the following week its on promo( I dont ever recall that they it 2 weeks in a row, but I can be wrong).

Now before you start posting from Fri, hey I purchased x cards why didnt I get the points! read the thread, at least from 1/1/21 till here, otherwise you most likely will be sorry in the end that you didnt, since not everything is in the Wiki (unfortunately) but the Wiki still has valuable info you need to know.
