If you can't get the FFC apply properly, and if you have sufficient means to do so, book a new ticket with the Break from Business discount, and then call to let them know that you were trying to use FFC to apply to this new reservation you just booked, but you were not able to do so. In doing so, the agent + rate desk can see the fare basis with the discount code, and they can manually adjust the payment, or book a new reservation with the same fare, but now applying the FFC and fare difference (if any). The other reservation can be cancelled within 24 hours without penalty.
