I'm getting more and more confused by this. Have had a couple recent stays at the IC Boston and all three times I was unable to fully use the $20 credit despite charging all F&B purchases to the room. For instance, one of the stays I put about $100 on the room and only got $3 removed (which coincidentally is the same price as a drink at the front desk/"gift shop"). So, do restaurant charges not count toward the F&B credit? If not, what the heck am I supposed to use it for? The hotel has removed all mini-bar items and the lounge is closed for renovations. So there is literally nothing to spend the credit on unless I buy $20 in candy bars from the front desk?
