When Costco accepted Amex it was the go to card for me. Unfortunately the CEO of Amex had the ego the size of the President of the United States and sent and advance team to Costco HQ and hotel prior to his arrival to negotiate continuation of their partnership . Big Mistake! Big Mistake! I hate CEOs with big Egos who think they need an entourage and that think they are responsible for the past success of their company. To save face Amex tried to spin the relationship was not profitable to continue. This was total BS.
