Your video looks great and the Tiepolo suite does look gorgeous.
Based on the pictures on the Aman website, most of the rooms have generic corporate hotel decor look that could be in almost any hotel. The Sansovino and Tiepolo suites are exceptions - they have a nice traditional Venice look, as do many of the common areas. I realize this is a matter of taste and that many rave about this hotel, especially the service.
You list the St Regis. While it has similar contemporary decor, it does have the advantage of Santa Maria della Salute Basilica views from some suites, which somewhat makes up for the decor. I do wonder about noise and crowds, given the location.
The Gritti, another one you list, has nice traditional decor and
Santa Maria della Salute Basilica views from some rooms. Alas, to get what I regard as a decent sized room would cost at least €6,000/night, which seems a bit much for a hotel room.
Do these impressions seem correct?
