Both are correct. Hyatt hotels booked through FHR are elite qualifying as a matter of policy. Some people claim even MGM stays can credit (though I have no experience/insight into this).
SLH hotels are not part of Hyatt. Hyatt is essentially an overpriced OTA for SLH hotels. You only get Hyatt benefits (there are no Globalist benefits at SLH) with SLH properties when you book through Hyatt. Thus, FHR bookings for SLH properties have no affiliation with Hyatt and no Hyatt perks.
