Doesn't this just sum up BA and their management? I had an issue recently with seats being moved on a St Lucia return after a plane switch, and my initial claim was rejected as I "hadn't paid for seating". Amazingly after I sent them the charge details, they did find it and refunded it.
I was surprised to learn there were no BA staff members on site at UVF at all.
