I’m really confused on this. It should either be a shuttle, or not a shuttle. They’ve clearly spelled out the routes that are, along with the benefits/differences, yet there’s no indication this has changed.

Boarding was at [literally] the furthest gate from tsa/skyclub, they used to use closer gates. When I was checking my bag the agent insisted it was 45 minute cutoff, regardless of route/shuttle designation. They held to 10 minute boarding cutoff instead of 5. I understand onboard service reduction for covid but is this even a shuttle anymore? Why call it that if there is no difference?

I’m coming from flying AA shuttles all the time and it wasn’t wishy washy with them, a shuttle designator was binary and it meant an absolute schedule and service commitment to what they promised for shuttle routes. It doesn’t even seem like anyone knows what “shuttle” means at DL LGA? Am I missing something?
