The Platinum Uber credits are use it or lose it and don’t carry over to the next month. However, they do stack with the gold credits.

In any case, there isn't much risk with this Resy deal, I can add it, rack up the points, and then decide whether to add a Gold, or not, in 6 months. I have a 4th night free booking at the Breakers for the end of the year but I noticed that they also have a 4th night free deal with FHR so assuming the prices still line up I can book this again with the Amex and cancel the Citi booking and at least utilize the $200 hotel credit and most of the airline credit when we fly in December. Only remaining question is whether I should just cancel (or more likely downgrade since I have a few hundred k thank you points now) the prestige or hold on to it in case I have the chance of doing another 4th night free booking, though the value of those has declined a lot. I guess I can see what my prorated annual fee refund would be and then decide.
I think AUs on Amex cards result in a hard inquiry and count as a 5/24 slot unless you call into Chase for a recon. Someone please correct me if I’m wrong. Just make sure it’s worth it for you to do that for a p2. If you take the Plat Authorized User, make sure it’s worthwhile for you.
The breakers is a cool hotel. As someone that lives in Palm Beach Island, I am sure you will have a lovely time there!
