confirmed eUp cancelled x3 (but I'm persistent!)

Similar experiences... Got booted from my eUp three times on the same booking after having cleared x2 just over a week ago. Unable to access change/update/cancel function online or in app. "Must contact gate agent" commonly appeared. Most recently today, on the day of my flight, I discovered that, despite the app saying I was in 4K on the 789 (cowtool agreed just before midnight yesterday), the very helpful desk attendant at the YYC lounge--not sarcasm, she did help a lot--informed me I was confirmed in 34A... After showing my in-app boarding pass and rooting around a bit she said "I have no idea what this person did to rebook you..." (Caveat: I had a leg cancelled and needed some rearranging last night but I was told when I hung up that I was confirmed in 'R' the next day and good to go) 🤷‍♂️. Different phone agent had confirmed appropriate 'R' eUp seat after the 1st booting too. In the end, I was lucky and got a (broken, non-reclining) 3G seat @ t-45min anyway but, 3 times booted after getting confirmation "Congratulations!"? Any guesses about what to do differently or, what's happening in general? I also had the "Check in now!" email 48 hours before the flight (clearly didn't let me...)
