Having never taken that train, it actually sounds kind of tempting! The Montreal-Halifax only has sleepers for 2 people, but it seemed to want to let me book as a single. Shower in the room was no extra. It looks like it only goes once a week, but leaving Toronto it would leave at 11.30 on the 20th, connect in Montreal and arrive in Halifax at 1751 on the 21st - still time for the evening pub crawl . Price is $612. Definitely not efficient, but might be a nice trip for someone! If Mrs. PITUK was coming with me, that's probably how we would travel, but less likely by myself.
