Almost 3 hours for Immigration alone on a Sunday afternoon last month, then Customs and baggage inspection. I'm certain the backup before the lines split into US and Non-US, which reached almost to the gates, would not have passed any safety/fire inspection regulations. They kept holding the non-US line to allow more US citizens to use all open desks. We had four hours between flights and missed our connection. Many people were expedited through the lines, and complainers were expedited to the office area... at least they got to sit down. Fortunately we had one of the nicest INS agents I have ever encountered and breezed through the actual check.
