I have read through the various connection in Miami airport threads and would like to seek some advice about the following journey:-
AA through ticket:-
AA 1089 BGI-MIA arr 7.25pm
connecting to
AA 2803 MIA-MCO dep 9pm - so "meets" the MCT of 1h35mins
2 UK residents (BAEC Gold - probably irrelevant) with Global Entry/ESTA and will not have been in the UK/Schengen area within the last 14 days.
Although this journey is bookable on AA.com I feel the timings are a little too tight considering Miami airport processing and how busy it can be. Can I just clarify the situation if we were unable to make the second flight if it is weather delayed then AA responsible for rebooking but not accomodation costs etc but for other reasons would the latter be covered? We normally do the reverse of Dom to Int but haven't done Int-Dom for years as we normally don't travel on from MIA by air. Just want to be prepared and haven't yet booked the flights and are travelling end of Sept 2021. Thanks in advance everyone.
