One important thing to take into account : your CDG-JFK flight must have no P cabin. Otherwise, you won't be eligible to the offer.
Another condition introduced 2 or 3 years ago is that you need to have flown P during the last 12 months. With the pandemic, they may have relaxed this rule. As per your post, your last revenue flight in P is not that old (but > 12 months). No risk to call and ask.
The price of this service has also dramatically increased about 2 years ago . It went up to 500 EUR (from 300 before) or 75,000 miles.
Hi, thanks for the reply. I know it's not a FB issue, but I actually wrote a message to the AF customer service and they told me to call the FB line...

I have to say that 500 EUR is a bit much (I guess they want to keep it exclusive and not crowded). Besides my flight has a P cabin: as it was already pointed out now all CDG - JFK are operated by the B777 with the new cabin. This is actually one of the main reasons why I opted for J: I quite like the new J cabin, the flight is rather short, the layover was supposed to be short too, so it seemed not worth it to pay more for P. (Incidentally, pre-covid it was rather easy to find AF P tickets out of italy at around 4K EUR, while now they are around 6.5K. This also seems a bit much to me, given that it is still easy to find AA P tickets at 4K EUR and LH/LX P tickets at around 4.5K EUR. I think I like AF's product more, but I don't think that the difference with LH/LX justifies an almost 50% price markup.

Yes. But the adjacent seat is not blocked
Oh, now this is annoying. I guess it's because they use Embraer or some other small plane. Actually, not having a neighbour is something that I would have preferred. At this point I am thinking of calling the reservation centre and changing flight, if that is possible at all.
